You realize that you just used "super fresh," and "alas," in the same sentence, right?
Kind of reminds me of my favorite poem .... "here in George Washington's Garden, the scene is totally dope."
why am i not amazed that you picked up on that... "that word, which our forefathers brought unto existence without haste or deviation of original purpose. that word is... ho."
Ok I've gotta know what this poem is... please share!
I can answer that on my end: It's really more of a paraphrase, inspired by a recent Poetry Slam here in Greensboro. A young poet, also the Poet Laureate at the local arts school, read something about sitting George Washington's garden at a POETRY SLAM.
I give it to the girl for being true to herself, and sharing something of herself.
I'm not sure what poem Sean is talking about, but it could be written by the great, anonymous poet, initials: B. S.
